Readiness- A Love Like Bithiah

Bithiah’s heart was ready to do whatever God asked her to do. Her heart was moved with compassion when she saw Moses floating down the river. The story is found in Exodus 2. She didn’t just watch an opportunity pass her by with a heavy heart, she took action because she trusted that she was positioned for that moment. She was prepared and willing to do what God prepared her to do, even if it meant being a young girl caring for a child that was not her own. God wants us to live with ready hearts and open hands, willing to go at the sound of His voice and follow through with what He has called us to do. We are continually being made ready.
God is always working on our hearts, stirring us and making us ready for the plans that He has for us. If we follow and remain connected to Him, He will lead us to the perfect time and place to pursue the purpose that we were created for.
